Hey out there in computer land.

Had a brief view of a thrush at the water pond this afternoon. At first glance 
thought Swanson's
due to large eye ring. Checked Knight's book of "Birds of North East TN" and 
found April to be
an early date. Checked Peterson's again and found the Hermit also has an eye 
ring. Sibley's 
does also. I did not notice the red tail. 

Since I do not want to bring the wrath of the good birders down on me I wlll 
settle for a Hermit.
