Sorry about the "extra" typographical adornments (e.g. =20), I don't know 
where they come from.  The main correction is that the site of the sightings 
was 
about a halfmile EAST, not west as stated, of the intersection of Hwy 340 and 
Hwy 348.  A halfmile west of there would put you in the middle of the 
Nolichucky River! :-)  Also, the co-ordinates sans "extras" (I hope), are 
36.1502 N, 
and 83.1407 W
