I had a pair of Tree Swallows, my first of the year, at home in Hampton, 
Carter Co., TN, earlier today (Sunday, March 13). They were checking out a nest 
box next to the fish pond that a pair of Tree Swallows occupied last year.
In addition, a male Red-winged Blackbird is displaying and singing in trees 
around the pond.
