[Bristol-Birds] BBC Meets Tues. (newsletter enroute)
- From: Wallace Coffey <jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx>

The Bristol Bird Club newsletter "THE EAGLE" was mailed Friday evening,
March 12. Some have not yet received their copy.
The BBC meets Tuesday, March 16 (this week), at 7:30 p.m. at the East
Tennessee State Unviersity Bristol Center on the Volunteer Parkway.
Everyone is invited. Membership is not required to visit.
Rack Cross will present a program on the results of recent efforts to
caputre and band Ring-billed Gulls. He will have digital video and photos.
This is a research attempt to learn where our winter population is coming from.
Remember that many of us gather at 6 p.m. for dinner on your own at the Mad
Greek restaurant located about 3.2 miles south of the ETSU Bristol Center on
the Volunteer Parkway across from the Bristol Tennessee Electric system and
Avoca Elementary School. This is an excellent opportunity to get to better
know birders, get caught up on what we've been up to for the last month and
adds quality social time to an otherwise friend and warm meeting environment.
If you have anything you want to bring for us to see or anything to tell us
about, we spend lots of time looking and listening. That is what we are all
about.
Come join us. It should be a real nice evening of fellowship and sharing
among area birders. You will enjoy getting to know area birders and the BBC
crowd -- the birding good time gang of the region.
Let's go birding.....
