[bristol-birds] Intro / Cedar waxwings

Hello Folks
My name is Rack Cross. I enjoy hiking/birding with my wife Carol, and =
occassionally our three children. We recently had the pleasure of =
birding on two different trips with none other than Don Holt - the man, =
the myth, the legend! Don made the trips more fun and interpretive than =
usual. On one of these trips my wife and I got a special couple of "life =
birders", that is, we met Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Coffey at Shelley's =
Chicken House (of course).
I enjoy the husbandry and propagation of poison dart frogs (PDF's) and =
associated botanical / entomological interests.
I have noticed a large flock of Cedar waxwings in west Kingsport lately. =
On Friday March 1, the flock appeared to be about 200 strong in a single =
large tree. On Monday March 4, it had grown to over 450! and occupied =
several trees. Today (March 5) I saw only 12 or so. The flock was near =
the Allandale Mansion on W. Stone Drive Kpt., TN on the Kingsport West =
Apartments Property (Lewis Lane).
