[Bristol-Birds] Golden Eagle at Kingsport

I need to make a correction to my post from earlier today. The eagle I saw
along Netherland Inn Road in Kingsport this morning was a Golden Eagle, not
an immature Bald Eagle as I posted. I was so excited from seeing the bird
and (also scrambling to get ready to teach a class) that I inadvertantly
typed Bald Eagle instead of Golden. I've seen immature Bald Eagles quite a
few times in that general area that I really just checked the bird off as
that as I first saw it as I was driving by. Once I stopped the car and
watched him for a few minutes I suddenly realized I was seeing this huge
patch of golden feathers on the nape and not even paying much attention to
it. I didn't have my binocs and was just watching as he toyed with the
geese. I will check again in the morning (Feb 1) on my way to work and post
on what I find.
