[Bristol-Birds] Shrike, kestrel, et al
- From: "Jeremy Stout" <tnnaturalist@xxxxxxxxx>

Hello all. This morning, 11:55 am, Highway 75 - Blountville - between the
Booher Creek bridges:
1 Turkey Vulture
1 Red-tailed Hawk
1 American Kestrel (m)
1 LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE
4 American Crows
2 Northern Mockingbirds
The shrike was perched low on a power line very near the first Booher Creek
crossing (if travelling away from Hwy 126). In addition to the one today, I
have noticed kestrels perched several times at this locality. This short
stretch of 75 proved to be an excellent locale for a drive-by birding!
