[Bristol-Birds] Snow Goose: Washington Co VA

The Snow Goose was present again this afternoon (7 Feb) at Clear Creek Lake,
north of the Wallace community, Washington Co., VA.
One was found at the same location 25 Nov 2006 by Andy Jones, Chris O'Bryan and
Wallace Coffey. A single bird was found on the Bristol Christmas Bird Count.
I think that was by Rack Cross's party at the same location. Dave Worley and
Coffey had two Snow Geese (1 blue form, 1 white form) in the county on the
Middle Fork Holston River, 17 Dec 2006.
Clear Creek Lake is about 70 percent ice covered and lightly blanketed with a
thin layer of snow.
