My parents, Amos and Peggy Stevens, saw at least three male Purple 
Finches at a feeder located adjacent to the drive-thru at Mountain 
Electric's offices in the village of Roan Mountain in Carter County 
this morning (Feb. 1). The Purple Finches were associating with a flock 
of House Finches.
