[Bristol-Birds] dusk at Orchard Bog -- Shady Valley

Rick Phillips and I were at Orchard Bog in Shady Valley, Johnson Co., Tn this
afternoon at dusk. We did not see or hear any American Woodcocks. This has
been a reliable place for some years. The Bristol Bird Club has a field trip
to here to look and listen for woodcocks on March 4, starting at 5 p.m. Rick
and I saw a flock of a dozen or so blackbirds go down in the bog just before
dark. We saw no red color in the wings and several were very dark and a few
lighter. We tried to find and flush them but they held tight and we did not
get another look.
