Wallace  Coffey and I checked out the Nicewonder Pond mid-morning. This pond 
is located beside I-81 at Exit 10. If going north, turn right off exit and 
then again right  on  to the North entrance of the Virginian. If traveling 
south, 
turn left across bridge and then right. The pond can be seen from the end of 
the public road at the Virginian Entrance.
Mute Swan:    5
Wood Duck:    2
Ruddy Duck:   1
Canvasback:   1 (Male)
Am. Widgeon: 25
Ring-neck Duck: 98
Gadwall:      1
Canada Goose: 14
