A single female House Finch, flocking with American Goldfinches, fed at my 
feeders this morning (Feb. 18) at my home in Hampton (Carter Co.), TN. 

It's something of an event now for me to have House Finches at my feeders. Back 
in winter of 1993-84 I had a large flock throughout the winter months.  

For the past few years, House Finches have become really scarce birds at my 
home. This is the first to visit in the winter of 2004-05.
