Ten birders searched without success for the Short-eared Owl near Kingsport
late Wednesday evening.
It had been seen about 9 a.m. Sunday flying in the rain over the yard and
adjacent fields at John Moyle's home near the foot of Bays Mountain.
We found extensive habitat for a Short-eared. The search will continue.
