Tues afternoon, 2-15-05, I spent a few minutes scoping the heron nests
just below the Hwy 36 bridge below Fort Patrick Henry dam.  It seemed to
me that on such a mild day that Great Blue herons would think of
checking out the condition of the nests they used last year.  But the
herons had no such ideas.  Zip. Zero.
