[Bristol-Birds] Quarry Bog Birding,

Birders,
Today (11th, 15:45 to 16:45) I (Chris O'Bryan)
spotted one (1) Cooper's Hawk, one (1) Red-tailed Hawk,
and nineteen (19) Eastern Meadowlarks in Quarry Bog,
Shady Valley, Johnson County, Tennessee, 2700ft Elev.
I got an extremely good look at the Red-tailed Hawk
soaring right above me about forty five (45) feet
up. I was able to look at detail; the blotched band
across the breast, the bright red tail (showing it's
an adult), and the white blotches on the back as
it made its swirls in the air. The dihedral wings
were very noticeable while it was soaring (also a
good identifying characteristic).
