[Bristol-Birds] Great Horned Owl

Today when I (Jerry Thornhill) turned into my driveway, something just
above it caught my eye. I was surprised to see a Great Horned Owl
sitting on the ground about 25 feet away. It was clear that he had some
prey on the ground. I watched for a few seconds before he got nervous
and flew away. I went up to check the site and discovered a nearly
eaten opossum. After I had been home a while, I checked and he had
returned to finish his meal. Unfortunately, a tree blocks any
possibility from watching from within the house.
Good birding to all.

Jerry
