[Bristol-Birds] Long-tails & gulls at Boone L.

The pair of Long-tailed Ducks were still at Boone Dam this morning (found
yesterday by Rick Phillips). This is the 4th record northeast of Knoxville in
about a weeks time, so obviously LTDUs are moving. Also at Boone Lake today
were 1850+ Ring-billed Gulls, which establishes a new high count for the
5-county area of "Northeast Tenn." Also on Boone were 5 Herring Gulls & 1
adult Bald Eagle.
Little else of note on South Holston Lake (2 goldeneyes) & the weir (2
Redheads).
I had hoped last night's cold front might have grounded something.
