Today, February 17th, I located a Golden Eagle perched
in a tree near the Forty Foot bridge in the Elk Garden
area. Later, Bob and Jean Montgomery joined me at the
intersection of Rt 80 and 656. We saw 3 Golden Eagles
and 10 Common Ravens. Later, Laverne and I found a
flock of 10 Rusty Blackbirds in a group of European
Starlings. We also had 9 Purple Finches at out feeder
today.
