[bristol-birds] Siskin

Greetings, all. I was searching the flock of finches at my feeders yesterday
morning looking for the two or three Purple Finches that ocassionally show
up. I didn't see them, but I did spot my first Pine Siskin of
the season. He seemed to be the only one, hanging out with the Goldfinches.
The rascal landed on top of a feeder perch that a Goldfinch was already
hanging from (upside down thistle feeder, ports below the perches, great for
Goldfinches, Purple Finches and Pine Siskins, discourages House Finches).
Then he reached down and goosed the Goldfinch and took his place when he flew
off. - Don Holt, Central Community, Carter Co., TN
