[Bristol-Birds] Eagle Count Ran Through Jan.17 From TWRA.

Birders:( Eagle Count Ran Through Jan. 17 From TWRA )
A Mid-Winter Eagle Count is scheduled for Tennessee during January 3 through
17, 2007 , said the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency ( TWRA ). This count is
part of a national count coordinated by the Biological Resources Division of
the U.S> Geological Survey. The target date for the national simultaneous count
is January 12-13 but reported sightings during the entire period of January 3 -
17 are important. Primary focus in Tennessee is bald eagles, but golden eagles
and ospreys have been reported over past several years. Anyone making sightings
of bald eagles, golden eagles, or ospreys during January 3- 17, ans in
particular January 12 - 13 contact Pete Wyatt ( 1-800-332-0900 ) in TWRA's
Region 4 Office or Richard Kirk ( 1-615-781-6619 ) TWRA Nashville. Information
includes: names, address, telephone number of observer, date, time and place of
observation, species observed and for bald or golden eagles whether adult or
