I heard an American Woodcock this evening at about 5:40 along Brown's Bridge
Road near Tusculum in Greene County. I detected the wing whirr sound, along
with a few twitters, but no peent call.
A few minutes earlier, also along Brown's Bridge Road, I heard a male and a
female Great Horned Owl exchanging calls.
