[Bristol-Birds] One more time for the ring necks

First thanks for the warm greetings tonight at the meeting. A great group I
hope to become a contributing member of. Special thanks to Wallace for
introducing me to everyone.
 Special thanks for the presentation by Dr. John Moyle. It always a pleasure
for me when people take the time to share the personal adventures. My wife's
family lived in eastern Africa for many years in the early sixties. She
attended elementary school at the US embassy there. Her father was an avid
sportsman and has many trophies that featured in tonight's presentation.
Times were different then. Hopefully the needless hunting of the animals has
stopped.

Now back to the ring-neck /Lesser(Greater) scaup id.

After downloading all of the photo's taken today, I found this picture. It
features 3 color variations all with rings on the beaks. The scaups I find
on the net have no rings on their beaks. Please see the attached photo.
