[Bristol-Birds] help for a newbie

I found these two ducks at South Holston Dam today and cannot identify them.
Anyone want to help? I am sure they are common but not in my guides.
I also do not how to submit counts so help would be appreciated.
Particularly how do you make the large counts? (i.e. 280 buffleheads)
