[Bristol-Birds] Red Crossbills (Johnson County)

Johnson County, TN

Yesterday, while participating on the Shady Valley/Mountain City CBC, Don
Holt & I
observed eight Red Crossbills along Highway 421 on Iron Mountain.  The
birds were on the Mountain City side, about 3 miles from the top.  They
were feeding in Table Mountain Pines, which have numerous cones along this
stretch.
