I have noted that Rick Knight, Bob Sargent, Don Holt and Jeff Wilson do not

enter these word contests. Does that say something?"
Sorry Bert, I haven't been paying attention to the fun and games, but
since you pointed me out, I would hate to give the impression that I think
I'm in the same league as the others you mentioned, :-) so here's my take on
mammals of the feline persuasion...My bird feeders are an open buffet for
Cooper's Hawks, Sharp-shinned Hawks, American Kestrels...what's one more
predator? My only complaint is that when the furry idiots sit in ambush
beneath the feeders, all the birds know they're there and I can't see said
birds until my neighbor remembers to let her well fed and partially declawed
darlings back inside (she lets them out on potty break then forgets). On the
other hand, if I was really intent on seeing birds, I wouldn't be sitting at
home. No, I don't have any problem with any kind of critter, even the
big-brained biped primates. Wouldn't make any difference if I did, anyway,
except to my peace of mind (being Right is just too demanding). That's why
my favorite bird species is European Starling. You just gotta love 'em!
