[Bristol-Birds] Shady Valley Sandhill

The sandhill crane reported by Rob Biller on Dec. 21 is still in the vicinity
of Beaverdam Creek at Quarry Bog Preserve. I saw it just today in the
diminishing light of dusk with low clouds spilling over Holston Mountain. The
call was unmistakable and was the only reason I noticed it from 150+yards away.
It flew in what seemed a very similar pattern to the one reported by Rob. It
flew out of sight over trees to the west.
