[blindipod] Re: Brian's Scripts & Anapod Explorer

The scripts are to make iTunes software easier to use. Anapod is an
alternative interface to iTunes and the scripts have nothing to do with it.

Subject: [blindipod] Brian's Scripts & Anapod Explorer

Hi All,

I'm making some progress in picking out a portable MP player, but
am still confused about several things.

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but are Brian's scripts and
the Anapod Explorer supposed to serve the same function? I've looked
at

http://www.hartgen.org/portable.html

but I'm still not clear on the difference between the two. It's a lot
of information to absorb and get straight for someone who still
prefers cassettes to CDs.

I'm running JAWS 6.2 and 7.0 and have the CD for 8 and, if I'm
reading things correctly, it seems that iTunes 7 has created problems
for JAWS 7.1 and 8.

My main interest is audio books, but I was also thinking of
putting some songs on the player to listen to while exercising and was
thinking about a second generation iPod Shuffle or an iPod Nano.

My computer is an XP Home with SP2.

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Margaret
