Hi.
There are many programs that will convert real audio files to
wav/MP3. The two I use, and which I think are best due to the facts that
they are free, do not tie up your sound card, and work quickly, are
DBPoweramp Music Converter
http://www.dbpoweramp.com
or Media Coder
http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net
The first allows right-clicking on the .rm file and choosing
"convert to" to convert to wav or any other format. Note that DBPoweramp can
be a pain to install for real audio conversion, so make sure to read the
instructions for doing so

and that DBPoweramp will only convert free to WAV. For MP3
conversion, you'll have to pay. There are, of course, tons of programs to
convert from WAV to MP3 freely.

IT won't work. Real is a propriitary format that they won't let anyone
support but Real. This is why absolutely nobody likes Real.
