Hi Scott

I personally think Rockbox is brilliant, even at the stage of development it
is currently in. Yes I like the battery indicator, I like the fact that I
can easily increase or decrease the base and trebble, I like the fact I can
bookmark files and the easy navigation of folders.
Today, I am going to experiment with the MP3 voice clips feature which I
read about in the Rockbox manual (a document I have now read in its
entirity). This as you know will allow a voice to read out the folder name
or file name ratehr than have it spelled.
The other thing I really like is the ability to create playlists. While it
is possible to do this on the iRiver with rockbox, I found yesterday evening
that doing this using Winamp and putting them on the player worked more
intuitively. However then, using Rockbox, I could activate Shuffle mode
relative to the playlist which was great.
