Thanks for your quick response Brian.

I have an audible book in mp3 format loaded at the moment.

It tooks me a *very* long time, using jaws mouse cursor, to get all 18 chapters
configured with the info Itunes needed (such as grouping, track 1 ofr 18, track
2 of 18) and so on, so that it would play in proper sequence. I also had to
copy it from the library folder to the shuffle folder to get it loaded once I
had done this.

This could be because I don't know I-tunes, and it could be because I haven't
used your scripts.

I'd be glad to buy your scripts if they'll solve my I-tunes issues.

I get a lot of books given to me in mp3 format, and I have a lot of music from
my own cds that I've ripped into mp3 format.

I wouldn't even know where to get DAISY content books, although the bookport
sounds good.

Lets say now, that unless I'll be able to download NLS content in DAISY format
very soon, I'm interested in these two things only: music and audio books in mp3
format. Often the audio books are also ripped from cds that I buy or are given
to me or checked out of my local library.

So, my question, with your scripts, how much easier will I find the shuffle to
load and use? I see no way for instance, to bookmark anything other than your
last place, so having two books going, or switching between books and music and
going back to your saved position seems impossible.

Putting books into folders on the shuffle itself also seems impossible.

How am I doing for being confused so far???

Thanks for your help.

Chip
