Hi Brian, the H140 has a 40 gb hard drive. I thought this was the same
capacity as the 340. Is this not the case?

I have just heard a very comprehensive review of the iriver H140 player
running the Rockbox software which makes the player talk.  This was carried
out by Jonathan Mosen, who as usual did a fantastic job, and you can listen
to the item at

The only difficulty I have with the H100 series is of course that they do
not contain as much storage space as say the H340 which I have, and I really
wish Rockbox would be available for that series.  I happen to think the
iRiver series of players in general deliver excellent sound quality. But as
I say, this is a great review and well worth a listen, just to hear how good
Rockbox is.
