Hi

I note that Audible have just released a new version of their Audible
Manager software, version 5.

First the good news.  While on the surface it appears that Audible Manager
version 4 is not available, it actually is.  If you download the product
which supports Windows 98, this is in fact the older version of Audible
Manager.  Version 5 only supports 2000 or XP.

What I have not been able to discover is what are the differences between
the versions?  The support available for jaws and Audible Manager does not
work with version 5, but upon an examination of the software, I could easily
write scripts for it which could give very good access to it.  The question
is whether it is worth doing, so ultimately we need to know what the
differences are.

If anyone can please help with this, that would be good.  Presumably at some
stage they will phase out the older version ...
