Mark,

Anapod Explorer is a program written by a company called RedChair software,
and it uses a Windows-Explorer-type interface to show you the contents of
your IPod. there's a link to it on the blindipod web page, and I'm pasting
it below for you to check it out. They have a trial version you can
download, then you can by a registered version for $20 or $25, depending on
the kind of IPod you have. the link is:

Take care,

Subject: [blindipod] File conversion with Anapod Explorer And IPod Shuffle

Hi everyone,

I've finally dived into the digital music world beyond just playing CD's by
getting a 1GB IPod shuffle. I've purchased Anapod Explorer and it's working
really well to transfer my music files, but there's one thing I'm not
understanding even after going through the documentation and the
configuration options:

If I transfer a .wma file, it is converted to a .wav file when it gets into
my shuffle's memory, and these files are rather large. Is there a way using
anapod Explorer that I can transfer these .wma files and convert them to a
format that takes up less space per file? Please forgive my ignorance
(smile), but thanks so much in advance for any help!

Pete De Vasto
