Hi, thanks for suggestion, but I allways eject either with itunes or anapod shuffle plus I use the safely remove device in system tray that windows provides.

Thanks much!

Steve

Hi

Have you got your shuffle set up for downloading data?

If so you have to manually remove it.

Open up Windows Explorer, right click on your Ipod and select eject.

This will fix your problem.

Cheers
Martin

Dear Stephan,
This is not a sololution but an enquiry. From where do you download your

Audio Books?

Thanks so much for commenting! In my case it's audible books but also
mp3
tracks that I've ripped from my cds with easy cda creator. I know
that at
least once when my shuffle was new I was able to fill it up with these

ripped tracks and play them all, so go figure!

Steve

Hi Steve,
I have had a similar problem with my iPod Shuffle.

In my case, the trouble was with tracks which I had purchased and
downloaded
from Real Player Music Store.

Some tracks would play, but others would not. It was as if, the iPod
Shuffle could not see the tracks.

They always showed as being on the iPod, when viewed on the PC.

I brought the problem up to Real customer service, and they had me
try
different things, but never really got a satisfactory answer.

Best I can say is that it just seems to be a hiccup in the iPod
Shuffle.

Crystal
