Greetings list,
I'm going on a long trip and thus would like to tae some audio books with me
to pass the time. I have a lot of books on cd that I would like to get on my
Ipod. I can rip the tracks fine enough and get them on my Ipod using Anapod,
but I'm finding that if I try to fast forward, rewind or stop to listen to
later, the track goes back to the beginning of the track. This is the same
for any other music file I either rip and or from the Internet and put on my
Ipod as well. Does anyone know how to either convert the mp3 file into an
m4b file without using Itunes or some other way that mp3 files can be fast
forwarded etc? I found a couple of web pages with instructions on how to
convert audio books on cd through Itunes, but I don't have to scripts. I
would just prefer another way that doesn't involve Itunes if possible. The
websites that I mentioned are:

Thanks,
Cristobal
