[blindipod] itunes and vista

Hi,
I have j-tunes and the latest version of itunes.
My question is how do you configure it to work with vista better?
I have a machine with xp and it reads all the menue items such as "file" "edit"
exc.
On my laptop with vista it doesn't read the menue bars.
is there a spacific way to set it up ddifferently?
I did the color setup and made sure it was right.
