[blindipod] Re: The new ipod from audible.co.uk

Hi there,
If I may step in here and say one or two bad things about Apple and its
attitude to disabled users! Brian has, indeed, made Apple's software usable
but it should not have been necessary. I thought there were laws here that
obliged companies like Apple to make their software accessible. I'm no
lawyer, most of us aren't but I think I have a fair grasp of the spirit of
the law.
I bought an Ipod Shuffle a couple of years ago and only then realised how
inaccessible Itunes was so I had no real choice but to get the scripts. As
and when my Shuffle conks out I will certainly avoid Apple and its products
like the plague.
I would like to hear some informed comment about the law/laws relevant to
this subject.
Regards
David

I wasn't saying it had to be your opinion mate, I'm just saying some people
don't like other people saying bad stuff about things. Have you used Itunes
with Brian's scripts? If not, they work fine and they do a good job of
making Itunes accessible for us!
