Try using format 3. I have found that format 4 is very buggy about not
starting where you left off.

Subject: [blindipod] Shuffle query
I use a shuffle to read downloaded audio books and it works very well.
However, when I switch off the shuffle and then switch back on later to
carry on reading the book doesn't start in the same place. Sometimes it
isn't far from where I stopped reading but sometimes it is. Also using the
skip to next track feature doesn't seem to work. Anyone got any thoughts.
