Pele, the unit and therefore the speaker are quite small and so the
sound from the speaker is quite thin. If I want to listen to audio
books on the milestone without cans I plug it up- to a set of powered
speakers, the ones that I know you have too.

I have been reading about the Milestone MP3 player. I understand it is
easy to work as the menus speak. I have one question, which no reviewer
can answer:
I understand the Milestone has a small speaker. It this good enough
quality to listen to speech, such as audio books? The person who needs
this information does not like using headphones.
