HI Merrill,
One useful command that isn't well known is that if you press Play/Pause
three times within one second you are taken to the beginning of your
playlist. If I add things to the end, I often give this command and then
press Back a few times to reach what I want. This works very well for
podcasts and such. Another thing I do to reach something in the middle is
go into Shuffle mode and press Forward until I reach something in the same
album, then switch to Ordered Play and move to what I want. generally this
takes less time than moving sequentially, though of course there's no way
to know how long it will take. It's sometimes useful to look at the list
of songs to remind myself of the order so I will know what is in the
vicinity of whatever I want to play.
