Hi Brett,
I have already turned off Spelling directories and files and have the spealk
talk files on. But the lockups still occur.
Any other suggestions?

I have had some lockups with mine and saw somewhere that you have to turn off
the spelling of directories. You have two options now one to spell or say
nothing and the second will enable or disable the use of talk files. Just use
the talk files for your directory anouncements and disable the spell directory
names thing and you should be good to go.
cheers,
Brett.

Subject: [blindipod] iPod with Rockbox and the lockup problem
Hello all,
I upgraded my 30GB iPod to the latest Rockbox build last weekend, and am
extremely glad both about Rockbox's performance as well as the more verbose
voice prompts.
However, the lockup problem continues to persist.
Could any of you who work with the Rockbox fraternity take this up with the
Rockbox developers? Rockbox is simply perfect but for the lockup problem. This
must be a problem that confronts sighted Rockbox users as well.
Thanks,
Geetha
