Hi Wendy,

You ensured that:

1. You maximized the iTunes application by starting iTunes and the
pressing Alt + spacebar and then pressing x to maximize?
2. You then had a sighted friend point the mouse cursor on the "Buy
Song/Track" button (as if they would click it but it is important that they
do not click it), don't forget that you need to be on a song title, before
you do that!
3. You then pressed Alt + Shift + t to mark the new location of the Buy
song/track button?

That's really all I know. Sorry, I have no other suggestions you might want
to contact Brian Hartgen otherwise to solve this issue.

Regards,

Roger Oberholzer

Hi Roger

I have tried this but it is not working - when I press ult, shift and t jaws
is just saying 'ult shift t'. Do you know if there is anything else I can
try?

Thank you.

Wendy

Hi,

Brian wrote a section about this in the manual towards the end of the manual
you will find his explanation. The "Buy Song/Track" button is different in
the various different environments and Brian had great foresight to creat a
keystroke in the new scripts 3.1 to retrain JAWS to find the button. This is
the only time (hopefully that you will need sighted assistance from a
friend. First, when your in the iTunes application, press Alt and the space
bar then press x to maximize the window.

Have the friend point the mous on the Buy Song/Track button (but ensure that
he/she does not click it). Then press Alt plus Shift plus T. JAWS will
announce that the location has been stored. This worked for me and seems to
be permanent. From then on you will be able to by songs without sighted
help.

Hope this helps. Regards,

Roger

Hi all

Someone very helpfully suggested that I update my account profile in Apple
which I have and I have also turned 'one click' settings on but to no avail.
When I press ult, control and T Jaws is still saying 'buying' with no dialog
box.

I think it was Anna who suggested that I may need to train jaws with sighted
assistance. Could someone possibly give me a guide as to how to do this as I
am not familiar enough with Jaws to be able to train it without some
assistance.

Thanks very much.
