[blindipod] Which IPOD to buy?

Hello,
I am planning to replace my Creative Muvo MP3 player with something more
accessible. I would appreciate your suggestions on what to go for. I would
ideally like something which will do the following in decreasing priority
order:
1. Be accessible either through Rockbox or through remembered sequences
of key presses (my MuVo is not accessible as the menus wrapt from first item
to last item and vice versa and so it is impossible to reliably get to a
known state)
2. Play MP3 and audible format 3
3. Have built in FM radio
4. Have storage capacity of at least 1GB ideally on a memory card
rather than a hard disk
5. Not require Itunes
6. Have built in microphone for recording voice files (I don't need any
fancy voice editing functions)
7. Be small in size
From what i have read on this forum it looks like the Apple IPODs mandate
Itunes which is not very accessible, especially as I use Windoweyes rather
than JAWS. I much prefer the Windows Explorer method of downloading files
onto the IPOD.
The Iriver products look good, but there are a lot of models and I am unsure
which ones are adequately accessible, support audible format 3, and are
easily obtainable in the UK.
The Rockbox WEB site lists several other products as supported, but I have
no knowledge of these.
I look forward to your advice.
Many thanks.
