Hi Ryan
Go to Edit and then preference.
Select advanced and then import.
Cheers

Hi Martin,
How do I adjust this to import at 192? I only see 128, spoken word, and
custom.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan
The way you select the CD and click on advanced is the way I've always done
it and it works fine.
You can also use the shift F10 key to access the context menu but this
sometimes doesn't work.
I would recommend you convert at 192.
Although they say that 128 is like CD quality I and others I have spoken to
agree on 192.
Also many websites where I download music from are set at 192.
I've got over 7000 songs on my jukebox and it has taken up 37 gig of memory.
Cheers
Martin

Subject: [blindipod] Importing CD's
Hello all,
I'm working on importing my CD collection into iTunes. I have two
questions. Is 128 bit the best option I have for converting to .m4a files? I
know that lossless is an option, but I'm afraid that might take up more room
than I have at this time. Secondly, What is the best method for importing the
CD's? Currently, I select all of the tracks, using Control+A. I then have to
go into my advanced menu and select "Convert to aac." Is there a hot key for
importing the CD?
Thanks,
Ryan Smith
