OK, scratch that one. After sending the email, I made sure that everything was
copied over, and only the first track was copied over. I tried your method
Martin, and you are correct. For some reason iTunes does not like that
command. I found that sometimes it would work, and on other occasions, it
would not work. Might I suggest another method though. This is what I have
always done anyway. Select the album you wish to add to the play list, and then
use control+C to copy then tab to the source menu, go down to the play list.
Once your cursor is on the play list, just use Control+V to paste the contents.
They will then be added to the play list. It seems like a round about way of
accomplishing the task, but it is much faster than having to add the tracks
individually using the previous method.
Hope this one helps.

Subject: [blindipod] Selecting all for play lists
Hi All
I've a strange one here in Itunes.
I'm setting up a new playlist called 'tonight.
I go to my library, cursor across to the album I want and into the list of
songs.
I then press ctrl + A to select all the songs ready for copying to my tonight
playlist.
I then press shift F10 to bring up the context menu and normally this works
for the first time.
From here I can add my selection to my tonight playlist.
However, if I go to another album, select all and press shift F10 the cursor
returns to the Library button and opens the context menu from there.
If I'm only copying one single song from an album to my tonight playlist then
the shift F10 works fine.
But if I'm selecting all the tracks in the album then shift F10 doesn't work.
I've got Itunes running on two PCs and both of them have the same fault.
Can somebody try this on their machine and see if they have the same problem.
Or is it just me?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
Martin
