Hi,

Unfortunately, as I understand it from both Apple and the folks at Red Chair Software, there is no way to get iTunes to stop deleting tracks put in through Anapod Explorer if you're using an iPod Shuffle. Unlike other iPods, the Shuffle automatically syncs with iTunes whenever iTunes is running, so any music that was not put in by iTunes is deleted. If you set it so that iTunes doesn't come up automatically, you will be able to use Anapod Explorer without having iTunes delete anything. However, the first time you use iTunes with the iPod Shuffle plugged in, the tracks will be deleted. Annoying, but that's the way they've designed it, and there's no setting we can change. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Anna
