Hi Sunil
Try the first check box, relating to launching iTunes when the iPod is
connected. Uncheck that.

Brian, in the 'iPod' bit in 'preferences' there's an option that is which is
'only update checked songs' which is not checked. Is that the option you're
talking about? I can't find anything else it might be.

Hi
I should imagine that your iPod is set to automatically update when it is
connected via iTunes. Check this in the preferences of iTunes.

Hi, I copied a CD full of tracks to my iPod via Anapod Explorer, I then
ejected my iPod, listened to some of the tracks and plugged my iPod back
into my PC to copy some podcasts onto it from iTunes. I noticed that the
tracks I'd copied via Anapod didn't show up when I tabbed to the list from
the source list and sure enough, when I unplugged my iPod to listen to the
tracks, they had disappeared. They had definitely gone, they didn't show up
when I connected my iPod to my PC and opened Anapod again.
Why is iTunes removing tracks automatically and what do I need to do to stop
it?
