Hi,

It wasn't being encouraged btw that anyone break copyright laws. And wouldn't DRM, (Digital Rights Management), be a valid topic considering the lists purpose is not soly for disscussion of IPODS?

Plus the question and conversion side point where kept in context of why use an IPOD.

Furthermore if very high profile tech celebs such as Steve Gibson of

www.grc.com

The wildly aclaimed security and data recovery expert that gave us Shields Up and Spin Doctor along with

Leo Laporte' from CNET can openly discuss this I fail to see why we need be so paranoid.

Granted © laws and liable laws are different in the UK but hmmm a tad paranoid me thinks...

Anyways I've said my peace and will return to the stick.

Hi

I have already commented upon this subject. However, I must ask anyone to
please refrain from discussing on this list how material which is intended
to be legally purchased and in its own protected format can be transferred
to another less protected format, such as MP3. Stay with the question of why
one would want to use an iPod by all means, and I am sure that question will
be very fully explored in the days to come, if not on this list, then
certainly within the accompanying web pages which I intend to launch by the
weekend.
