I just listened to Scott Howell's demonstration of Rockbox on the 30GB
iPod video, wherein he stated that once Rockbox is installed, it is no
longer possible to play music from the ITunes database. Not being
exactly sure of what that means, does it mean I must only use the iPod
in disk mode and cannot use it with ITunes at all? If this is so, do
I lose the capability of storing and playing files encoded with a
lossless compression (like FLAC or AAC), which is one of the reasons I
wanted an iPod in the first place? Very confused about this.
