on this subject, I would like to know more. The only tool I know about
that does this came from the Annapod site and was really aimed at windows
98
users. it was suggested that the tool may not work for all models and, if
it didn't, the best option was to borrow someone's PC with Windows 2000 or
XP and use Itunes.
If you don't have ITunes and do not have anyone sighted to help with
entering the serial number I am not sure the best what the best option is.
if, rather than using setup from the CD, you download ITunes and then
connect the IPod shuffle, what happens? are you still required to input
the
serial number? will the IPod shuffle then be automatically formatted?
I played with my shuffle a while ago and think I used this method to get
it
working but can't remember.
If all you want to do is copy MP3 files to the shuffle and play them, and
you don't want to install and uninstall ITunes, the Zenstone may be a
better
bet.
